Congratulations to all prize winners!

Muenchen Tamil Sangam in association with the Consulate General of India- Munich is organising a painting competition for young talents, celebrating the beginning of 75th year of Indian’s Independence and celebrating Indo-German relations on the 21st of November.

From March of this year till 15th of August 2022, India is celebrating 75 weeks countdown of 75th anniversary of independence. In these years we have seen some great changes and advancements in field of medicine, science and technology, socio-cultural, literature, entertainment and so on, both in Tamilnadu and India as a whole. India’s development was also fueled by our Honorable 11th President of India Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

On such an occasion, München Tamil Sangam e.V. is happy to organize a painting competition which conveys growth of India, Tamilnadu and Kalam’s Vision of India and the Indo-German relationship.

Details of the competition

The competition is open Children upto the age of 14 (as on 21st November 2021). The Child participates individually (not in a group). The young artists who register for the painting competition can follow one of the following themes.

  1. India 75
  2. Tamilnadu
  3. Kalam’s India
  4. Festivals of India and Germany

The participant can choose one or multiple topics of his or her own choice and present a painting. Accordingly charts will be provided.

Materials for Painting Competition

The charts (white color) will be provided by the Muenchen Tamil Sangam. The painting/sketching material (i.e. Colours) should be brought by the participants. The venue has tables and chairs (adult-size). It can also be arranged that the Child can sit on the floor to paint. In this case, please bring appropriate drawing pads for painting.

Display & Prize Announcements

All the drawings/paintings/sketches will be displayed for viewing and prize announcements will happen on a later date. Detailed information regarding the viewings will be communicated. The Certificates duly signed by the Consul General of India will be distributed for Prize winners along with the viewing.

Kindly send your registrations through the google forms https://tinyurl.com/MTS-Kids-Drawing-2021. Kindly send in your registrations as soon as possible to ensure a place in the competition. Last date for registration is 18th November 2021.

Entry Restrictions due to CoVID-19
Due to CoVID-19 regulations, we will follow the rules that are enforced by the city on the event. As of today (4th Nov 2021), we will follow the 3G access rules. We also intend to organize the contest in 3 different slots to restrict the total number of children in each room. Exact timing of the slot will be communicated after the registration.
